Discreet drainable protection with clamp-free convenience. The InvisiClose® integrated closure eliminates separate clips, while opaque odor-barrier film provides confident all-day wear in the larger 70mm coupling size.

    • Why Choose Natura® Drainable Pouch with InvisiClose®

This pouch delivers essential features for confident ostomy management: the InvisiClose® integrated closure that provides secure, clip-free sealing without fumbling with external clamps; opaque odor-barrier film that provides complete discretion without visibility concerns; and the 2¾" (70mm) flange size that accommodates larger stomas or provides maximum adhesive surface area for enhanced security. The secure Natura® coupling system features an audible "click" for confident attachment, while the soft comfort panel and quiet materials maintain discretion in any situation—professional, social, or intimate.

      Understanding 2¾" (70mm) Flange Sizing

      Why 70mm Matters:

The 2¾" (70mm) flange is the largest common size in the Natura® system, providing important advantages for specific users:

      Larger Stoma Accommodation:

      • Cut-to-fit barriers can accommodate stomas up to approximately 1½-2"
      • Essential for users whose stomas don't fit within smaller flange openings
      • Common for temporary post-operative swelling situations
      • Necessary for herniated or prolapsed stomas

      Increased Adhesive Surface:

      • Significantly more adhesive area than 57mm or smaller flanges
      • Provides enhanced security for active users or challenging contours
      • Better distribution of pouch weight (important for fuller pouches)
      • Reduces risk of barrier edge lift during movement

      Enhanced Stability:

      • More substantial coupling provides extra confidence
      • Better for users who experienced detachment issues with smaller flanges
      • Helpful during vigorous physical activity or sports

      When 70mm is Appropriate:

      • Your stoma measures larger than what 57mm barriers accommodate
      • You need maximum adhesive surface for security
      • You've experienced barrier failure with smaller sizes
      • Your ostomy nurse recommends larger flange for your anatomy
      • You have challenging peristomal contours requiring more coverage

      Understanding InvisiClose® Closure System

      How InvisiClose® Works:

Traditional drainable pouches require separate plastic clamps or clips to seal the tail after emptying. InvisiClose® integrates a secure closure mechanism directly into the pouch tail design:

      To Empty:

      1. Open the InvisiClose® closure by separating the integrated seal
      2. Direct tail into toilet and allow pouch to drain completely
      3. Wipe tail interior and exterior clean with toilet paper

      To Reseal:

      1. Align the closure edges carefully
      2. Press firmly along the entire closure line to engage the integrated seal
      3. Verify seal integrity before resuming activities

      Advantages Over Traditional Clamps:

      • No separate devices to purchase, carry, or lose
      • Faster, more convenient emptying—especially in public restrooms
      • More hygienic (smooth integrated design vs. clamp with crevices)
      • Better for impaired hand function (simpler mechanism)
      • More discreet (no hard plastic bulge at pouch bottom)
      • One less thing to manage in your ostomy supply inventory

      Filter Availability Note

Important: This product is available in multiple SKU variants—some include integrated deodorizing filters, others do not. Always verify filter inclusion when ordering.

      With Filter SKUs:

      • Automatic gas venting prevents ballooning
      • Odor neutralization through activated charcoal
      • Continuous operation throughout wear period
      • Most effective with formed to semi-formed output
      • Ideal for colostomy users with significant gas production

      Without Filter SKUs:

      • No automatic gas venting
      • Requires manual "burping" by opening tail slightly
      • User has complete control over gas release
      • May prefer liquid deodorant drops for odor control
      • Better for liquid output that could clog filters

Check product specifications or consult supplier to confirm which variant you're ordering.

      Opaque vs. Transparent Film

      Opaque Film (This Product):

      • Complete privacy and discretion
      • No visibility of pouch contents
      • Confident coverage in all situations
      • Preferred for social/professional settings
      • Eliminates concerns about transparency

      Transparent Film:

      • Clear visibility of output
      • Visual monitoring of consistency, color, volume
      • Helpful for new ostomates learning output patterns

Choose Opaque if you prioritize complete discretion and privacy.

      Natura® 2¾" (70mm) Coupling System

This pouch uses ConvaTec's Natura® 2¾" (70mm) coupling—the largest common flange size in the Natura® system.

      Compatible With:

      • ConvaTec Natura® 70mm flat barriers
      • ConvaTec Natura® 70mm convex barriers
      • Durahesive® barriers (70mm coupling)
      • Durahesive Plus® barriers (70mm coupling)
      • Stomahesive® barriers (70mm coupling)
      • Cut-to-fit or pre-sized barrier openings (as long as coupling is 70mm)

      NOT Compatible With:

      • Other ConvaTec flange sizes (38mm, 45mm, 57mm)
      • Other manufacturers' systems (Hollister, Coloplast, etc.)
      • Smaller Natura® pouches

Important: Your barrier flange size determines which pouches you can use—they must match exactly. If you use 70mm barriers, you must use 70mm pouches.

      70mm Size Context

      Natura® Flange Size Range:

      38mm (1½") - Smallest:

      • For very small stomas
      • Petite body frames
      • Minimal bulk

      45mm (1¾") - Small-Medium:

      • For smaller stomas up to ~⅞"
      • Compact profile

      57mm (2¼") - Most Common:

      • Standard size for majority of users
      • Fits stomas up to ~1⅛"
      • Widest product selection

      70mm (2¾") - Largest (This Size):

      • For larger stomas over 1¼"
      • Maximum adhesive surface
      • Enhanced security and stability

      Usage & Application

      Attaching the Pouch:

      1. If applying fresh barrier, remove paper backing after barrier is adhered to skin
      2. Align pouch flange with barrier coupling ring
      3. Press around entire ring perimeter until you hear/feel an audible "click"
      4. With larger 70mm flange, ensure complete engagement around entire ring
      5. Gently tug pouch to confirm secure attachment
      6. Verify InvisiClose® tail is properly sealed before wearing

      Emptying the Pouch:

      1. Empty when pouch is ⅓ to ½ full (don't wait until completely full)
      2. Sit on toilet and position tail between legs into bowl
      3. Open InvisiClose® closure by separating the seal
      4. Allow contents to drain completely
      5. Wipe tail interior and exterior clean with toilet paper
      6. Realign closure edges and press firmly along entire seam to reseal
      7. Check seal security by gently tugging before standing

Note on Opaque Pouches: Since you cannot see through the pouch to check fullness, monitor by:

      • Feeling pouch weight (empty when feels moderately full)
      • Time-based emptying schedule
      • Learning typical fullness based on meal timing
      • Emptying more frequently rather than waiting too long

      Typical Emptying Frequency:

      • Colostomy (formed output): 1-2 times daily
      • Ileostomy (semi-formed to liquid): 4-6 times daily
      • Empty more frequently after meals when output increases

      When to Change Pouch:

      1. Per your routine wear schedule (typically 1-2 days)
      2. If filter (when present) becomes saturated and loses effectiveness
      3. If InvisiClose® closure no longer seals properly
      4. If film develops any tears, punctures, or damage
      5. If pouch develops persistent odor despite emptying
      6. If coupling ring shows signs of wear or doesn't click securely

      Pouch Disposal:

      • Empty remaining contents into toilet
      • Decouple pouch from barrier by gently pulling coupling apart
      • Wrap used pouch in newspaper or disposable bag
      • Dispose in household trash (do not flush)
