The Grip-Lok Medium Securement Device (3-1/2", Sterile, 100/Box) secures catheters and tubing 3-8 mm via a hook-and-loop system and hypoallergenic adhesive. Low-profile and adjustable without removal for comfortable, reliable line fixation.

    • Why Choose the Grip-Lok Medium Securement Device – 100/Box?

Clinical and home care environments where catheter and line management is a daily routine require a securement solution that is consistently reliable, skin-friendly, and efficient to apply. The Grip-Lok Medium Securement Device meets all three criteria. Unlike tape, which only adheres to the outer surface of the tube and loses grip with moisture or movement, the Grip-Lok's hook-and-loop strap wraps around and grips the tubing directly — providing full-contact stabilisation and significantly stronger resistance to accidental dislodgement. The medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive maintains a skin-friendly bond without the stripping and irritation associated with repeated taping. The hook-and-loop strap allows the tube to be repositioned or adjusted without disturbing the skin adhesive, saving time and reducing skin disruption during line management. The medium 3-1/2" size accommodates tubing from 3 to 8 mm (approximately 9–24 Fr), covering the majority of standard clinical line diameters. Packaged 100 per box for high-volume clinical supply management.

      Key Features

      • Secures tubing 3–8 mm in diameter (approx. 9–24 Fr) across multiple catheter and line types
      • Hook-and-loop closure wraps around tubing for full-contact grip and strong dislodgement resistance
      • Medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive for skin-friendly, reliable surface adhesion
      • Low-profile, soft design with no rigid plastic components for patient comfort
      • Adjustable without removing the skin adhesive — easy repositioning and line management
      • Universal design compatible with Foley catheters, IV lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, drains, and more
      • Sterile, individually packaged units
      • 100 per box for high-volume clinical supply

      Benefits

      • Full-contact hook-and-loop grip significantly outperforms tape for line dislodgement prevention
      • Hypoallergenic adhesive reduces skin irritation compared to repeated tape application and removal
      • Adjustable without skin adhesive removal — reduces skin disruption during line care
      • No rigid plastic components improves patient comfort during extended wear
      • Universal tubing range covers the majority of standard clinical line diameters
      • 100-per-box packaging reduces restocking frequency in high-use clinical departments

      Clinical & Typical Applications

Foley catheter stabilisation on the thigh or lower abdomen in hospital, long-term care, and home care settings

IV and PICC line securement where a repositionable, skin-friendly alternative to tape is clinically preferred

Enteral feeding tube stabilisation for patients with nasogastric or gastrostomy tubes requiring reliable daily fixation

Surgical drain management during the post-operative period where line stability and skin integrity are both priorities

Long-term care residents with multiple indwelling lines requiring durable, comfortable securement that simplifies routine care

Home care patients managing Foley catheters or feeding tubes independently or with caregiver support

      Usage & Care

Single-Use Only: This device is sterile and intended for single use only. Do not reuse.

Inspection: Check packaging integrity before use. Do not use if packaging is damaged, open, or past the expiry date.

Application: Clean and dry the skin at the securement site. Remove the adhesive backing. Press the device firmly against the skin at the desired fixation point.

Tube Placement: Thread or clip the tubing into the hook-and-loop strap. Adjust the tension to grip the tube securely without kinking the lumen or causing pressure on the skin.

Repositioning: Open the hook-and-loop strap to reposition the tube as needed. The skin adhesive remains in place during tube adjustments — no reapplication required.

Replacement: Replace the device when the adhesive becomes compromised, when the skin beneath requires inspection, or per clinical protocol.

Caution: Do not apply to broken, oedematous, or irritated skin. Monitor the adhesion site at routine intervals for signs of skin breakdown or irritation.
