For drug diluent use only. Do not inject this water on its own. Not for use in neonates (newborn infants). This benzyl-alcohol-containing product must not be used for fluid replacement or in epidural or spinal anaesthesia procedures. Intravenous administration without an added solute can cause haemolysis (breakdown of red blood cells). The final preparation must meet the product labelling requirements for approximately isotonic solutions.
