The Medi Epicomed® is a soft elbow support featuring compressive knitted fabric, two integrated silicone support pads, and an adjustable tension strap. It is designed exclusively for orthotic support of the elbow and should only be worn over intact skin.

During movement, the compressive knitted fabric and silicone pads create a gentle massage effect that supports circulation and may help reduce swelling, bruising, irritation, and discomfort around the elbow.

The integrated silicone pads apply targeted pressure around the inner and outer elbow tendon attachments. The removable tension strap can be tightened or loosened to customize the pressure for work, sports, or daily activity.

Contraindications

How to Apply

1. Pull the support over the arm until the hollow of the elbow is positioned in the centre of the knitted Comfort Zone.
2. Position the seam over the centre of the prominent elbow bone.
3. Confirm that the inner and outer epicondyles can be felt through the notches in the silicone support pads.
4. Loosen or tighten the tension strap to adjust the pressure based on the activity and level of support required.
5. The tension strap may be removed when it is not required.

Wear Instructions

The support provides its greatest effect during physical activity. It may generally be worn throughout the day when comfortable, but prolonged tight bending of the elbow should be avoided.

Remove the support during longer rest periods, including while sleeping, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

If excessive pain or discomfort occurs, remove the support immediately and contact a physician, healthcare professional, or qualified medical supplier.

Sizing Information

Sizing Tip: Measure directly against the skin without pulling the measuring tape too tightly. Size II fits a circumference of 20–23 cm. Customers whose measurements fall between sizes should consult a healthcare professional or qualified brace fitter.
