Usage & Application

Sizing & Preparation:

• Measure stoma diameter carefully
• Select pre-cut size or cut-to-fit model based on stoma size
• If cut-to-fit: trace and cut opening approximately 2-3mm larger than stoma
• Ensure all edges are smooth to prevent irritation

Application:

1. Clean and dry peristomal skin thoroughly
2. Warm barrier between hands for 30-60 seconds
3. Remove protective backing from Flextend barrier
4. Center opening over stoma with soft convex side against skin
5. Apply from bottom up, pressing firmly for 30 seconds
6. Smooth tape border for secure edge adhesion
7. Press hand against barrier for additional heat activation

Using the Viewing Window:

• Lift viewing window flap when inspection needed
• Check stoma color, appearance, and health
• Verify barrier placement and seal integrity
• Close window securely after inspection
• No need to remove entire pouch for routine checks

Emptying with Lock 'n Roll™:

1. Sit on toilet or position over collection container

3. Allow contents to drain completely
