Usage and Care

Begin wrapping at the narrowest point below the injured area and work upward in overlapping spiral turns, maintaining consistent tension throughout — avoid wrapping so tightly that circulation is restricted. Each layer should overlap the previous by approximately half the bandage width. Secure the end of the bandage with the included metal clips. After application, check the wrapped area regularly for signs of impaired circulation: numbness, tingling, increased swelling below the wrap, skin colour change, or coolness. If any of these signs are present, unwrap immediately and rewrap with reduced tension. Remove the bandage for bathing and sleeping unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider.
