For users who need more support than a standard single-point cane provides but want to avoid the bulk of a large-base quad cane, the ProBasics Small Base Quad Cane is an ideal solution. The four-point base distributes weight across a broader contact area, significantly improving balance and reducing the risk of slips and falls — without sacrificing manoeuvrability in tight indoor spaces. The adjustable height range of 29" to 38" accommodates a wide range of user heights, and the reversible ergonomic handle can be configured for either left or right hand use. The aluminium shaft and steel base keep the cane lightweight at approximately 2.3 lbs, and the quad base stands independently when set aside, adding convenience during daily use. Suitable for home care, rehabilitation, and long-term daily mobility support.
Users recovering from stroke requiring unilateral support and improved walking stability
Individuals transitioning from a walker to a cane who still need four-point balance assistance
Post-surgical rehabilitation patients requiring a lightweight, adjustable walking aid
Seniors with reduced balance or moderate lower limb weakness needing daily walking support
Home care clients requiring a cane that can be used safely on carpet, tile, and outdoor surfaces
Patients in physiotherapy or occupational therapy programs progressing through mobility aids
Height Adjustment: Press the push-button or use the adjustment pin to set the shaft to the appropriate height. The handle should align with the user's wrist when standing upright with the arm relaxed.
Hand Configuration: The handle is reversible — flip and reinsert to switch between left and right hand use as directed by a clinician or therapist.
Walking Technique: Hold the cane on the stronger side and advance the cane with the weaker leg. Consult a physiotherapist for personalised gait training if needed.
Tip Inspection: Check non-skid rubber tips regularly for wear. Replace worn tips promptly to maintain traction and prevent falls.
Cleaning: Wipe down the handle and shaft with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging in water or using abrasive cleaners.

Very welcoming and informative. We went in to rent a Walker for my mom to see if she would use it. They had no rentals left so he gave us a brand new one on rental. Highly recommend this company for all your ADL needs.

Fantastic service and experience, from delivery to pickup we could not have asked for anything more! We rented a hospital bed, and I do not believe you would get better service anywhere. Highly recommended!
