For patients with healthy, intact peristomal or periwound skin, Skin-Prep's adhesion-enhancement function makes it the correct pre-barrier application choice. Note: Skin-Prep contains alcohol and will sting on compromised, macerated, or broken skin — for use on intact skin only. Usage & Care

Apply Skin-Prep to clean, dry, intact skin only — do not apply to open wounds, raw tissue, or compromised skin. Allow the film to dry fully (approximately 30–60 seconds) before applying tape, dressings, or ostomy barriers — the product is dry when it is no longer tacky. Do not apply to broken, macerated, or sensitised skin — Skin-Prep contains alcohol and will cause stinging on compromised skin. For compromised skin, use an alcohol-free no-sting barrier film product instead. Apply per product format instructions.
