Usage/Application

Ideal for sanding, grinding, sweeping, woodworking, drywall work, insulation, maintenance, construction, and other occupational environments involving certain non-oil-based airborne particles. Users must complete appropriate fit testing and follow applicable respiratory-protection programs and manufacturer instructions. Perform a user seal check each time the respirator is put on, mould the nose clip to the bridge of the nose, and position both head straps as directed, since a proper seal is essential to N95 performance and facial hair along the seal area will prevent an effective seal. The smaller size suits adults with smaller facial profiles, so confirm the fit through fit testing. As an N95 it protects only against certain non-oil-based particles and is not suitable for gases, vapours, oil-based aerosols, or oxygen-deficient environments, and it is not a surgical mask or intended for fluid resistance. It is a single-user, disposable respirator and should be discarded when it is damaged, soiled, hard to breathe through, or as directed by the workplace protection program.
