    • Why Choose Coloplast SenSura Mio 1-Piece Non-Convex Wide-Outlet Drainable Cut-to-Fit 10–55mm

The 10–55mm cut-to-fit range is wider than the standard 10–50mm format — the additional 5mm at the upper end accommodates larger stoma diameters that fall just outside the 50mm cut-to-fit ceiling. For users with stoma diameters between 50mm and 55mm, this is the clinically necessary format: a 50mm-maximum barrier cut to its absolute limit leaves essentially no barrier adhesive margin between the stoma edge and the barrier perimeter, creating an inadequate seal zone that generates frequent leakage. The 55mm ceiling provides a functional adhesive margin for stomas in the 48–52mm diameter range that the 50mm format cannot support. The wide outlet is the ileostomy-appropriate drainage specification — liquid to semi-liquid output flows cleanly through the wider outlet without the restricted-flow difficulty of narrow-tail formats. Non-convex flat barrier is appropriate for well-protruding stomas at these larger diameters, where protrusion is typically adequate for flat barrier sealing — very large stomas that are also recessed or flush would require the wide-range convex format instead. 1-piece construction applies and changes as a single unit. Key Features

✔ Cut-to-fit 10–55mm — wider aperture range than standard 10–50mm for larger stoma diameters

✔ Flat non-convex integrated barrier for well-protruding stomas

✔ Wide outlet for clean liquid and semi-liquid ileostomy output drainage

✔ Drainable format for ileostomy and higher-output colostomy management

      ✔ 1-piece — no coupling step — 10 per box

✔ Confirm colour and filter by exact SKU

      Benefits

✔ 55mm upper aperture ceiling accommodates larger stomas that exceed 50mm cut-to-fit limit

✔ Provides functional adhesive margin for stomas in the 48–55mm diameter range

✔ Wide outlet reduces spillage and cleaning difficulty during liquid output emptying

✔ Non-convex appropriate for well-protruding larger stomas on flat peristomal skin

✔ 1-piece simplicity eliminates coupling management for larger-stoma ostomy users

      Clinical & Typical Applications

✔ Ileostomy and higher-output colostomy with larger stoma diameter in the 50–55mm range

✔ Users whose stoma exceeds the 50mm ceiling of standard cut-to-fit barriers

✔ Post-operative stoma management where larger oedematous stomas require wider aperture

✔ Well-protruding larger stomas where non-convex flat barrier provides adequate seal

✔ 1-piece preference for users not requiring 2-piece independent pouch-change access

      Usage & Care

Measure stoma accurately before cutting — for larger stomas, cut no more than 3mm larger than the stoma diameter within the 10–55mm range. Apply to clean, dry peristomal skin and press firmly from the stoma outward. Empty the wide outlet when the pouch is one-third to half full. Change the complete 1-piece system per personal routine and healthcare provider guidance — typically every 1–3 days. Consult a stoma care nurse for barrier and pouch selection guidance.
