Usage & Care

Cutting: Measure the stoma using a stoma measuring guide and mark the desired opening on the barrier. Cut within the 15–40 mm range. Cut to slightly larger than the stoma to avoid mucosal contact.

Application: Remove the backing from the barrier. Warm briefly in your hands to soften the elastic adhesive. Centre over the stoma and press from the centre outward, smoothing the adhesive to the skin.

Pouch Attachment: Press the SenSura Mio Flex pouch against the barrier's coupling zone and hold firmly for a moment until secured. No snapping or ring alignment is required.

Wear Time: Change when leakage occurs, when the barrier begins to lift, or at the interval recommended by your stoma care nurse — typically every 3–5 days.

Removal: Use an adhesive remover spray to release the barrier gently. Peel back slowly from the outer edge toward the stoma.
