Lubri-Sil™ combines 100% medical-grade silicone construction with hydrogel coating for reduced-friction catheterization in latex-sensitive patients requiring secure, long-term urinary drainage.
Loading…
This catheter is built for indwelling urinary drainage when a clinician has directed a 20Fr 2-way Foley with a 5cc retention balloon, latex-free construction, and hydrogel surface coating. The Lubri-Sil construction combines two material properties: 100% silicone substrate (eliminating latex entirely — appropriate for confirmed latex-allergic patients and facility latex-free default policies) with a hydrogel surface coating (absorbing water and forming a slick lubricated surface against the urethral wall to reduce insertion friction beyond what silicone alone provides). This contrasts with silicone-coated latex catheters (which retain a latex base) and uncoated 100% silicone catheters (which lack the hydrogel friction-reduction layer). The 100% silicone material also resists protein adsorption and encrustation across the indwelling wear period. The 2-way design uses one lumen for urine drainage and a separate lumen for balloon inflation. The 20Fr French size is a larger adult calibre — useful when output viscosity, blood, or sediment in the urine would obstruct smaller lumens, or when clinically directed for the user's anatomy. The 5cc balloon is the standard routine retention balloon volume. The 12/Bx case format suits routine clinical and facility Foley resupply. Lubri-Sil 20Fr 5cc 12/Bx is commonly listed under Bard/BD SKU 175820. Bard (now BD/Becton Dickinson) is a long-established US-origin urology brand with deep specialisation in Foley catheter design.
✔ Lubri-Sil indwelling Foley urinary catheter
✔ Construction: 100% silicone substrate, hydrogel-coated
✔ Catheter size: 20Fr — larger adult calibre
✔ Balloon size: 5cc / 5 ml — standard routine retention balloon
✔ Design: 2-way (drainage lumen + balloon inflation lumen)
✔ Latex-free — safe for latex-allergic patients
✔ Hydrogel surface coating for reduced insertion friction
✔ Retention balloon system for bladder anchoring
✔ Drainage lumen and balloon inflation lumen integrated in shaft
✔ Box quantity: 12 catheters per box
✔ Useful for clinical care, facility care, and caregiver-assisted routines under professional direction
✔ Bard/BD SKU 175820 (commonly listed configuration)
✔ 2-way Foley design supports continuous indwelling urinary drainage with bladder retention via inflated balloon
✔ 100% silicone construction eliminates latex allergy risk entirely — appropriate for confirmed latex-allergic patients and latex-free facility inventory
✔ Hydrogel coating absorbs water and forms a slick lubricated surface against the urethral wall — reduces insertion friction beyond what bare silicone provides
✔ Hydrogel layer reduces protein adsorption and encrustation across the indwelling wear period
✔ 100% silicone material independently resists encrustation and supports longer wear intervals than latex-based catheters
✔ 20Fr larger calibre supports higher flow capacity when output viscosity, blood, clots, or sediment would obstruct smaller lumens
✔ 5cc balloon anchors the catheter in the bladder for routine drainage scenarios
✔ 12/Bx case format supports routine clinical and facility Foley resupply at the 20Fr larger-calibre level
✔ Useful for users who require Foley catheter drainage under specialist clinical direction
✔ Post-surgical and post-procedural indwelling urinary drainage requiring larger lumen flow capacity
✔ Acute urinary retention with output viscosity, blood, or sediment requiring 20Fr drainage flow
✔ ICU, ward, hospice, and long-term care indwelling Foley management at larger calibre
✔ Confirmed latex-allergic patients requiring non-latex Foley alternatives
✔ Facility policy requiring latex-free defaults across all catheter inventory
✔ Extended indwelling wear scenarios where hydrogel coating supports reduced encrustation
✔ Routine 2-way Foley scenarios — not for continuous bladder irrigation (3-way Foley required)
✔ Clinical and facility supply for routine 20Fr Foley resupply at the 12 ct case level
Ideal for users who require an indwelling Foley catheter for urinary drainage and have been directed to use a 20Fr, 5cc, 2-way 100% silicone hydrogel-coated catheter. Use only under healthcare professional direction. Follow proper catheter insertion, securement, drainage bag connection, hygiene, monitoring, and replacement guidance.

Very welcoming and informative. We went in to rent a Walker for my mom to see if she would use it. They had no rentals left so he gave us a brand new one on rental. Highly recommend this company for all your ADL needs.

Excellent experience - website faithfully represented what was in stock (which hasn't always been my experience with other vendors sadly), and local shipping was really fast - ordered on the weekend, received it on Monday in my case. Thank you for being
