Our Delivery, Installation & Pick-Up Service (Outside Henday, up to 60 km) sends a 2-person team to safely deliver, install, and remove rental medical equipment. Scheduled and professional for hospital beds, lifts, and heavy-duty equipment.
Medical equipment — particularly hospital beds, patient lifts, and bariatric or heavy-duty items — requires more than simply dropping it at the door. These products need to be set up correctly in the right location within the home or facility, tested for safe operation, and configured to meet the patient's specific needs before they can be used safely. Attempting to move and install large or heavy medical equipment without the right training or personnel puts the equipment, the property, and most importantly the people involved at risk. Our 2-person delivery and installation service takes this burden off families, caregivers, and discharge teams entirely. A trained 2-person crew handles every step — from transporting the equipment safely to the location, to positioning, assembly, and testing within the home or facility, to scheduled pick-up and removal at the end of the rental period. Scheduling: Contact our team to book a delivery and installation appointment. Provide the delivery address, nature of the equipment being rented, and any access requirements (stairs, elevator, narrow doorways) at the time of booking.
Day of Delivery: Ensure a clear path from the entry point to the installation room. The 2-person crew will position, assemble, and test the equipment on-site. A brief demonstration of safe use will be provided.
During Rental: Contact our team if you have any concerns about equipment function or positioning during the rental period. Do not attempt to move or disassemble heavy equipment independently.
Pick-Up: At the end of the rental period, our team will return to the address to disassemble, remove, and transport the equipment. Ensure the equipment is accessible and that personal items have been cleared from around it prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
