Installation & Compatibility
The 10110 is designed to be easily added to compatible 1-inch folding walkers. Remove the existing rear rubber tips and install the glide skis securely on the rear legs according to the applicable walker instructions.
Drive states that the 10110 can be used with all 1-inch folding walkers and with Drive and most leading manufacturers' walkers. Verify the actual tubing diameter and leg configuration before ordering; “universal” does not mean every walker is compatible.
Usage and Safety Information
Confirm the walker has compatible 1-inch tubing before installation. Make sure each glide ski is fully seated and secure on the rear leg.
After installation, test the walker on a flat, dry surface. Both rear glides should contact the floor evenly and the walker should remain stable during normal use.
Inspect the skis regularly for cracks, excessive wear or looseness. Replace them if damaged or if they no longer remain securely attached.
Glide skis are intended to help the walker move forward; they are not a replacement for proper hand support or safe walking technique. Use additional caution on wet, icy, loose or highly uneven surfaces.
