The Grip-Lok Securement Device (Large 6-1/4", Sterile) secures catheters and tubing 6-13 mm with a hook-and-loop system and hypoallergenic adhesive. Low-profile, adjustable without removal for safe, reliable universal line fixation.

    • Why Choose the Grip-Lok Securement Device?

Accidental dislodgement of catheters, feeding tubes, IV lines, and surgical drains is one of the most common and consequential line-related events in clinical and home care settings. Traditional tape-based fixation fails under moisture, loses adhesion with activity, and can cause skin stripping when removed for adjustment or repositioning. The Grip-Lok Securement Device offers a more effective and skin-friendly alternative. Its hook-and-loop closure mechanism grips the tube securely within the device, while the medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive anchors it to the patient's skin without the harsh properties of conventional tape. The soft, low-profile construction contains no rigid plastic components — eliminating the pressure points and discomfort associated with hard-plastic securement systems. The hook-and-loop design allows the tube to be repositioned or adjusted without removing and reapplying the skin adhesive, reducing skin disruption and saving time for caregivers. The large 6-1/4" size accommodates tubing diameters from 6 to 13 mm across a wide range of line types. Sterile and single-use.

      Key Features

      • Secures tubing 6–13 mm in diameter across multiple catheter and line types
      • Hook-and-loop closure system grips the tube securely with controlled tension

      • Sterile single-use packaging supports infection control standards

      Clinical & Typical Applications

Foley catheter securement for patients at risk of traction or accidental dislodgement during daily activity, transfers, or repositioning

Enteral feeding tube stabilisation for patients with gastrostomy or nasogastric tubes in hospital, long-term care, or home settings

IV and PICC line securement where a low-profile, repositionable fixation alternative to tape or rigid devices is preferred

Surgical drain and chest tube stabilisation during the post-operative period where line security and patient comfort are priorities

Long-term care residents with multiple lines requiring reliable, skin-friendly securement that can be adjusted easily during care routines

Home care patients managing indwelling catheters or feeding tubes who require a durable, user-friendly securement solution

      Usage & Care

Single-Use Only: This securement device is sterile and intended for single use only. Do not reuse.

Inspection: Check packaging integrity before use. Do not use if packaging is damaged, open, or past the expiry date.

Application: Clean and dry the skin at the application site. Remove the backing from the adhesive. Position the device against the skin at the desired securement point and press firmly to adhere.

Tube Placement: Thread or clip the tubing into the hook-and-loop closure. Adjust the tension to secure the tube without kinking or compressing the lumen.

Repositioning: To adjust tube position, open the hook-and-loop closure and reposition the tube as needed. The skin adhesive remains in place during repositioning — no reapplication required.

Replacement: Replace the device when the skin adhesive becomes compromised, when the skin beneath needs inspection, or as directed by clinical protocol.

Note: Do not apply to broken, irritated, or oedematous skin. Monitor the application site at each clinical review for signs of skin irritation or pressure.
