Hollister New Image Lock n Roll Drainable Pouch 12-inch Transparent No Filter — integrated roll-and-lock closure without separate clamp, clear output monitoring, and 2-3/4 inch flange for compatible New Image 2-piece barriers — 10/bx.

    • Why Choose Hollister New Image Lock 'n Roll Drainable Pouch 12" Transparent No Filter

The transparent no-filter variant of the Lock 'n Roll serves the user whose output monitoring or filter preference differs from the beige-with-filter version. Transparent material allows continuous visual assessment of output character — colour, consistency, and volume — without opening the pouch or removing it from the body. For patients recovering from bowel surgery, for caregivers monitoring ileostomy or colostomy output during illness, or for patients advised to monitor for bleeding, mucus, or output changes, transparent material provides this access at every emptying interval without requiring a separate stoma inspection step. The no-filter specification is a deliberate user preference: integrated filters fail by moisture — once the filter membrane becomes wet from output contact or high-humidity environments, it no longer vents gas and may instead create a pathway for odour to bypass the pouch. Some users who have experienced this failure prefer to eliminate the filter entirely and manage flatus by emptying more frequently, or by using a carbon-based filter sticker separately. Lock 'n Roll eliminates the clamp. 2-3/4 inch flange for compatible New Image 2-piece barriers. 10 per box.

✔ Caregiver-monitored ileostomy or colostomy output observation during illness or recovery

✔ Users who have experienced filter failure preferring no-filter transparent configuration

✔ New Image 2-piece users at 2-3/4 inch flange requiring transparent drainable pouch

✔ Any user where clamp-free closure and output visibility are both priorities

      Usage & Care

Connect to compatible Hollister New Image 2-piece barrier with matching 2-3/4 inch flange. Empty when the pouch is one-third to half full. Open the Lock 'n Roll tail following Hollister's emptying instructions, empty over the toilet, rinse as needed, then roll and lock the integrated closure. Assess output colour and consistency through the transparent pouch at each emptying. Replace per personal routine and healthcare provider guidance. Consult a stoma care nurse for complete pouching system selection.
