This enhanced one-piece urostomy pouch features a flat Flextend extended-wear barrier and ultra-clear multi-chamber design. The soft streamlined tap connects to night drainage while anti-reflux technology minimizes backflow for confident urine management.

    • Why Enhanced Multi-Chamber Design

Traditional urostomy pouches can become bottom-heavy as urine collects, causing discomfort and pulling on the barrier. The enhanced multi-chamber design distributes urine throughout the pouch for balanced weight, lower profile, and reduced stress on the skin barrier seal.

      Key Features & Benefits

      • Flat Flextend™ extended-wear barrier provides durable adhesion with high resistance to urine erosion
      • Enhanced multi-chamber pouch distributes urine evenly for balanced weight and lower profile
      • Soft, streamlined drain tap comfortable against body with easy one-handed operation
      • Night drainage adapter included connects securely to bedside drainage bags
      • Anti-reflux feature helps minimize urine backflow toward stoma
      • Ultra-clear film allows visual monitoring of output and stoma condition
      • Cut-to-fit up to 2½″ (64 mm) accommodates various stoma sizes with custom fitting
      • 9-inch (23 cm) length provides adequate capacity for daytime wear
      • Tape border adds extra security around barrier edges
      • Belt tabs allow optional ostomy belt attachment for added confidence
      • Latex-free construction safe for latex-sensitive ostomates
      • Box of 10 pouches convenient packaging for inventory management
      • Extended-wear barrier reduces frequency of changes and protects peristomal skin
      • Chambered design prevents "sagging" sensation and maintains comfortable profile
      • Soft tap eliminates hard plastic discomfort against thigh
      • Night drainage capability provides uninterrupted sleep
      • Clear film eliminates need to remove pouch for output monitoring
      • Reliable adhesion withstands continuous urine exposure

      Clinical Applications

Ideal for urostomy patients with:Ileal conduit or other urinary diversion requiring continuous drainage management ✓ Need for extended-wear barriers to reduce frequency of changes ✓ Desire for night drainage connection for uninterrupted sleep ✓ Active daytime routines requiring balanced, low-profile pouch ✓ Stomas up to 2½″ (64 mm) requiring cut-to-fit customization ✓ Preference for one-piece systems offering simplicity and security ✓ Need for visual monitoring of urine output characteristics ✓ Sensitivity to backflow requiring anti-reflux protection ✓ Concern about pouch weight pulling on barrier seal

      Usage & Application

      Sizing & Preparation:

      • Measure stoma diameter carefully using measuring guide
      • Add approximately ⅛″ (3mm) clearance around stoma for skin protection
      • Verify stoma size is within 2½″ (64mm) maximum cut-to-fit range
      • Gather supplies: pouch, measuring guide, scissors, pen/marker, skin cleanser
      • Ensure peristomal skin is clean, dry, and free from lotions or residue
      • If using barrier ring or paste, have ready before application
      • Have night drainage bag and tubing available if needed for bedtime

      Cutting and Preparing the Barrier:

      1. Remove pouch from packaging and locate cutting guide on barrier backing
      2. Place measuring guide over stoma tracing on cutting template
      3. Trace stoma size plus ⅛″ clearance onto barrier backing paper
      4. Cut opening carefully following traced line—use sharp scissors for clean edges
      5. Ensure cut opening is smooth with no jagged edges that could irritate skin
      6. Remove barrier backing paper just before application
      7. Warm barrier between hands for 30-60 seconds to increase adhesion

      Application:

      1. Clean peristomal skin with water (avoid soaps with oils or lotions)
      2. Pat skin completely dry—moisture prevents proper adhesion
      3. If using barrier ring, apply to skin or barrier opening now
      4. Remove barrier backing paper from prepared pouch
      5. Hold pouch with drain tap pointing downward
      6. Center barrier opening over stoma—no skin should be exposed
      7. Apply from bottom up, pressing gently to avoid air pockets
      8. Smooth tape border firmly around entire perimeter
      9. Press hand over entire barrier for 30-60 seconds to activate adhesion
      10. Use body heat by holding hand over barrier for 1-2 minutes
      11. Ensure drain tap is in comfortable position (usually angled toward thigh)
      12. If using belt tabs, attach ostomy belt at this time
      13. Close drain tap securely before dressing

      Using the Ultra-Clear Window:

      • Check urine color, clarity, and characteristics through transparent film
      • Monitor stoma appearance and health without removing pouch
      • Assess output volume to determine when emptying is needed
      • Watch for mucus, blood, or sediment in urine
      • Verify barrier seal integrity by checking for leakage around edges
      • No need to remove pouch for routine visual inspection

      Emptying the Drain Tap:

      1. Position over toilet or collection container
      2. Open drain tap by rotating or pulling (depending on tap design)
      3. Allow urine to drain completely
      4. You may gently compress pouch from top to assist drainage
      5. Clean tap opening with toilet paper or tissue
      6. Wipe both inside and outside of tap
      7. Close tap securely—verify it's completely closed
      8. Test closure by gently pressing on pouch
      9. Empty when pouch is approximately ⅓ to ½ full
      10. Typical emptying frequency: every 2-4 hours during day

      Connecting to Night Drainage:

      1. Before bedtime, empty pouch completely
      2. Attach night drainage adapter (included) to drain tap if not pre-attached
      3. Connect night drainage bag tubing to adapter
      4. Ensure connection is secure to prevent disconnection during sleep
      5. Position drainage bag lower than bed level for gravity drainage
      6. Open drain tap completely to allow free flow
      7. Verify tubing has no kinks or obstructions
      8. In morning, close tap before disconnecting night bag
      9. Disconnect night drainage tubing from adapter
      10. Empty and clean night drainage bag per manufacturer instructions

      Monitoring Throughout Wear:

      • Check barrier edges several times daily for lifting or loosening
      • Monitor for any urine leaking under barrier
      • Typical wear time: 3-7 days depending on barrier adhesion and output
      • Assess peristomal skin condition at each change
      • Watch for skin irritation, redness, or breakdown
      • Verify anti-reflux feature is functioning (urine flows down, not back)
      • Check that multi-chamber design is distributing urine evenly
      • Note any changes in stoma size requiring barrier adjustment
      • Replace pouch when:
        • Barrier begins lifting at edges
        • Leakage occurs under barrier
        • Skin irritation develops
        • Adhesion weakens
        • Planned barrier change day arrives

      Pouch Removal:

      1. Empty pouch completely before removal
      2. Disconnect night drainage if attached
      3. Support peristomal skin with one hand
      4. Gently peel barrier away from skin starting at top
      5. Use adhesive remover wipes if needed for comfortable removal
      6. Avoid pulling or tearing at skin during removal
      7. Discard used pouch in appropriate waste receptacle
      8. Clean peristomal skin thoroughly with water
      9. Pat skin completely dry
      10. Inspect skin for any irritation or breakdown
      11. Allow skin to air dry 1-2 minutes if time permits
      12. Apply new pouch following application steps above
