The Kendall SCD 700 Controller SMART COMPRESSION is the next evolution of IPC. It applies intermittent pneumatic compression to increase venous blood flow1 — helping prevent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in at-risk patients.

  • The Kendall SCD™ 700 Smart Compression™ Controller is a state-of-the-art device that delivers compression to the leg, foot, or both to aid in the prevention of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE), including Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) in at-risk patients. Its flexible and transportable design ensures that it can be easily used in different settings. The Controller includes animated alerts with resolution prompts for any error, low noise, ease of cleaning, and a large LCD screen for visibility, making it an ideal choice for healthcare providers.

The Kendall SCD™ 700 Smart Compression™ system includes the following smart features:

    • Smart Compression Cycles that use Vascular Refill Detection (VRD) technology to measure venous refill time and customize compression cycles automatically for each patient
    • Ability to move 100% more blood per hour and adjust accordingly when a patient's needs change over time
    • Smart Patient Compliance feature that displays the patient's true wear time by nursing shift, alerts the nurse of removed sleeves with Patient Sensing™ technology, and provides a wear time tool to support true compliance to therapy and quality improvement initiatives
