Usage/Application

Ideal for CPAP users who want an additional disinfection step for masks, removable humidifier chambers, and other compatible accessories. Place clean, dry items inside the drawer with surfaces exposed to the UV-C light, close the drawer, and activate the cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions. UV-C disinfects only the surfaces it directly reaches, so it supplements rather than replaces the manufacturer's regular soap-and-water cleaning, and shadowed areas and the inside of tubing or hoses are not treated. Always run the cycle with the drawer fully closed, since UV-C light can harm the eyes and skin, and do not look at or expose skin to the bulb or defeat the safety interlock. Use it only with items the manufacturer lists as compatible, and replace the UV-C bulb as directed once it reaches the end of its rated life. The system is ozone-free, avoiding the ozone used by some other cleaners.
