      Usage/Application

Ideal for small wound cleaning, wound coverage, dressing changes, first aid kits, clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living, home care, caregiver-supported wound care, and general medical supply rooms. Use the sterile gauze sponges to cover, clean, or protect small wounds during dressing changes, opening each sterile pack just before use and using the sponges once to help maintain sterility and reduce contamination, then discarding them. Secure them with medical tape, a wrap, or a secondary dressing since they are non-adhesive, and use sterile gauze wherever sterility is required, such as on open wounds. Change the gauze according to the wound-care plan, keep the wound area clean, monitor for signs of infection, and for deep, heavily draining, infected, or non-healing wounds, or anything beyond a minor wound, follow the guidance of a healthcare professional.
