The X-Act ROM Elbow Brace (Left, Universal) controls elbow flexion and extension via an adjustable tool-free hinge for post-surgical and post-injury recovery. Telescoping frame and malleable aluminium cuffs deliver a precise anatomical fit.

    • Why Choose the X-Act ROM Elbow Brace?

Effective post-operative and post-injury elbow rehabilitation requires precise control of joint motion — allowing enough movement to promote healing without risking reinjury or disruption of repaired structures. The X-Act ROM Elbow Brace is a professional-grade orthosis engineered to provide exactly that. The adjustable hinge allows clinicians or patients to set specific flexion and extension limits incrementally — from approximately −10° to 120° flexion and −10° to 90° extension — enabling a controlled, progressive return of motion as healing advances. The telescoping frame adjusts to fit varying arm lengths, and the malleable aluminium cuffs contour directly to the patient's anatomy for a secure, comfortable, and migration-resistant fit. A quick-lock function enables fixed positioning when needed, and snap-fit buckles allow easy one-handed application. The universal size and left-side configuration accommodate a broad clinical patient population.

      Key Features

      • Adjustable ROM hinge for tool-free flexion and extension control
      • Flexion range: approx. −10° to 120° (incremental settings)
      • Extension range: approx. −10° to 90° (incremental settings)
      • Telescoping frame for customisable arm length adjustment
      • Universal size with adjustable cuffs to fit most patients
      • Malleable aluminium cuffs contour to individual arm anatomy
      • Quick-lock function for fixed joint positioning when required
      • Snap-fit buckles for easy one-handed application and removal
      • Anti-migration thermoformed padding liners for comfort and position stability
      • Left side configuration

      Benefits

      • Provides precise, incremental control of elbow motion during post-operative recovery
      • Protects healing tissues by limiting joint movement to clinically prescribed ranges
      • Telescoping frame and malleable cuffs accommodate a wide range of arm sizes
      • Tool-free hinge adjustment supports easy progression of motion limits by clinician or patient
      • Quick-lock enables static positioning for rest or high-risk activity periods
      • Snap-fit buckles and anti-migration padding improve patient compliance and comfort

      Clinical & Typical Applications

Post-operative elbow recovery following ligament repair, biceps tendon repair, or fracture fixation requiring controlled ROM

Stable elbow fractures managed conservatively where progressive motion within limits is prescribed

Post-traumatic elbow stiffness or contracture where controlled mobilisation under a supervised protocol is indicated

Moderate to severe soft tissue elbow injuries requiring motion restriction during the acute or subacute healing phase

Rehabilitation settings where progressive hinge adjustments are used to advance motion over a structured recovery timeline

Home recovery patients requiring a durable, adjustable brace following hospital or clinic discharge after elbow surgery

      Usage & Care

Fitting: Adjust the telescoping frame to match the patient's arm length. Contour the malleable aluminium cuffs to the forearm and upper arm anatomy for a snug, migration-resistant fit. Confirm the hinge is correctly aligned with the lateral elbow joint axis.

Hinge Settings: Set flexion and extension limits using the tool-free hinge adjustment mechanism. Confirm prescribed settings with a clinician before use. Advance settings only as directed during the rehabilitation protocol.

Quick-Lock: Engage the quick-lock function to fix the joint in a static position for rest periods or when motion is temporarily restricted.

Application: Use snap-fit buckles to apply and remove the brace. The design allows one-handed application for improved patient independence.

Cleaning: Wipe the frame and cuffs with a damp cloth. Remove the padding liners for cleaning according to the manufacturer's instructions. Allow to dry fully before reapplying.

Note: For use under clinical supervision. Hinge settings should be prescribed and progressively adjusted by a qualified physiotherapist, orthopaedic surgeon, or occupational therapist.
