The MiniQuad is designed for most aluminum canes with 3/4-inch (1.9 cm) tubing. It is not designed for folding canes. Measure the cane shaft before ordering rather than relying only on the cane's brand or model name.
The 300 lb rating is the manufacturer's rating for the product configuration and does not increase the weight capacity of the cane. The complete cane and its lowest-rated component determine the safe user weight.
Usage and Safety Information
Confirm the cane shaft diameter before installation. Remove the existing tip and push the MiniQuad fully onto the shaft until it is securely seated.
Before use, pull firmly on the tip to verify that it cannot slide off. Inspect the tip regularly for cracking, tearing, hardening or excessive tread wear.
The MiniQuad may allow a cane to stand independently on suitable level surfaces, but it is not guaranteed to remain upright on slopes, soft carpet, wet floors, gravel, ice or other unstable surfaces.
The tip provides increased stability but does not make a cane slip-proof. Use caution on wet, icy, oily, loose or uneven surfaces.
