Usage & Application

System Compatibility:

• Works ONLY with SenSura® Mio Flex barriers (50mm)
• Uses flexible adhesive coupling (not rigid snap)
• Compatible with flat or convex Flex barriers
• Works with pre-cut or cut-to-fit Flex wafer styles
• NOT compatible with Click systems or other manufacturers

Pouch Attachment:

1. Ensure SenSura Mio Flex barrier is properly adhered to skin
2. Remove protective backing from pouch's adhesive coupling ring
3. Align pouch coupling with 50mm Flex barrier coupling
4. Press firmly and smooth around entire ring for secure adhesion
5. Verify complete contact all around coupling
6. Allow adhesive to set for optimal hold

Daily Use - Closed Pouch:

• Closed pouches cannot be drained - replace when full
• Change pouch before it becomes uncomfortably full or heavy
• Typical schedule: 1-3 times daily depending on output
• Remove and dispose of entire pouch when changing

Pouch Removal:

1. Gently peel adhesive coupling from barrier starting at top
2. Support barrier with other hand to prevent accidental removal
3. Roll pouch inward to contain contents
4. Dispose per facility or local waste guidelines
5. Apply fresh closed pouch to existing barrier

Filter Maintenance:

• Integrated filter reduces gas automatically
• No maintenance required during wear
• Filter effectiveness varies with output consistency
• Replace pouch if filter becomes saturated or ineffective
