400 lb Capacity Durable positioning chair with a 20-inch seat and adjustable seat height.

Why Choose the Rose Comfort Max?

Standard geriatric chairs and basic recliners generally provide only upright and partially reclined positioning. This may be insufficient for users who spend extended periods seated and require regular caregiver-managed position changes, postural support, lower-extremity elevation, and pressure redistribution throughout the care routine.

The Rose Comfort Max provides up to 38° of tilt and up to 90° of recline, including Trendelenburg positioning. This expanded positioning range supports pressure redistribution across seated contact areas, lower-extremity elevation, rest positioning, and access during certain care procedures when used according to an established clinical care plan.

Positioning is controlled by the caregiver using separate rear-mounted levers: the back-left lever controls tilt, while the back-right lever controls recline. An elevating, length-adjustable leg rest accommodates different lower-leg lengths, while the full padding package provides broad contact-surface coverage during extended seated care. Casters allow the chair to be repositioned within indoor care areas without requiring the user to transfer.

      Usage and Safety Information

Lock all casters before assisting with transfers, adjusting the chair, or leaving the chair stationary. Use the back-left lever to control tilt and the back-right lever to control recline and Trendelenburg positioning.

Adjust the leg-rest length to match the user’s lower-leg length before elevating it. Position changes should be completed by a trained caregiver according to the user’s care plan and the manufacturer’s instructions.

Do not leave a user unattended in a tilted, reclined, or Trendelenburg position unless appropriate supports, supervision, and clinical protocols are in place. Stop use and reassess positioning if the user develops pain, breathing difficulty, skin discolouration, numbness, increased swelling, instability, or distress.
