Usage/Application

Ideal for grinding, sanding, sweeping, machining, maintenance, construction, and other approved workplaces involving certain oil- or non-oil-based airborne particles. Users must follow the manufacturer's instructions, complete applicable fit testing, and comply with workplace respiratory-protection requirements, performing a user seal check each time the respirator is put on; facial hair along the seal area will prevent an effective seal. Unlike an N95, the P95 rating is oil-resistant and may be used around certain oil-based aerosols as well as non-oil particles, though it should be used within the manufacturer's stated service-life and use limitations. As a particulate respirator it protects only against qualifying airborne particles and is not suitable for gases, vapours, or oxygen-deficient atmospheres. It is a single-user, disposable respirator and should be discarded when it is damaged, soiled, or difficult to breathe through.
