Usage/Application

Ideal for healthcare facilities, long-term care settings, workplaces, public transportation, travel, appointments, and personal protection. Position the respirator securely over the nose, mouth, and chin, adjust the nosepiece, and check the fit before entering the exposure area, performing a user seal check each time it is put on. A proper seal is essential to N95 performance, and facial hair along the seal area will prevent an effective seal; because this is an ear-loop design, take particular care to confirm a close seal, as ear loops can fit differently from headband straps. Where the respirator is used for occupational protection, complete the applicable fit testing and follow the workplace respiratory-protection program. As an N95-style particulate respirator it protects only against certain non-oil-based particles and is not suitable for gases, vapours, oil-based aerosols, or oxygen-deficient environments. It is a single-use, disposable respirator and should be discarded when it is damaged, soiled, or hard to breathe through.
