Usage & Care

Apply barrier paste to clean, dry peristomal skin — fill specific creases, channels, or depressions by pressing paste into the channel with a finger or applicator. Smooth the surface. Allow to become tacky before applying the ostomy barrier over the paste-filled area. Do not apply thick layers — thin fill of specific channels is the correct technique. May sting on compromised or broken skin — confirm suitability with a stoma care nurse before use on damaged peristomal skin. Replace paste application at each barrier change.
