Usage & Application

Sizing & Preparation:

1. Measure stoma diameter carefully using measuring guide
2. Trace and cut aperture opening between 10–35 mm to match stoma size
3. Cut should be approximately 2-3mm larger than stoma diameter
4. Ensure all edges are smooth to prevent skin irritation

Barrier Application:

1. Clean and dry peristomal skin thoroughly
2. Warm barrier between hands for 30-60 seconds to activate adhesive
3. Remove protective backing from baseplate
4. Center opening over stoma
5. Apply from bottom up, pressing firmly for 30 seconds
6. Ensure complete adhesion around entire baseplate

Pouch Attachment:

1. Align pouch's 40 mm Click ring with barrier coupling
2. Press firmly around entire ring until you hear the audible "click"
3. Visually inspect connection - verify secure attachment all around
4. Gently tug pouch to confirm locked position

Pouch Removal & Changing:

• Use release tabs on pouch to disconnect from barrier
• Listen for release sound confirming detachment
• Attach new pouch without removing barrier (extends wear time)
• Replace barrier per usual wear schedule or when adhesive loosens

Wear Time: Barriers typically last 3-5 days depending on output, skin condition, and activity level. Change when adhesive begins to loosen or if leakage occurs.
