Usage & Application

Pouch Attachment:

1. Ensure barrier is properly adhered to skin
2. Align pouch's 50mm Click ring with barrier coupling
3. Press firmly around entire ring until you hear the audible "click"
4. Visually inspect connection - verify secure attachment all around
5. Gently tug pouch to confirm locked position

Daytime Emptying:

1. Sit on toilet or position over collection container
2. Flip open the soft drain tap
3. Allow urine to drain completely
4. Close tap securely - verify closure is complete
5. Wipe tap opening with tissue if needed

Night Drainage Connection:

1. Connect standard bedside drainage tubing directly to tap interface
2. Ensure secure connection to prevent disconnection during sleep
3. Position drainage bag below waist level for proper flow
4. In morning, disconnect drainage tube and close tap

Monitoring & Replacement:

• Check urine output color and volume regularly through transparent front
• Empty when 1/3 to 1/2 full to prevent weight strain on seal
• Replace pouch when odor develops or if seal integrity is compromised
• Typical wear: 1-2 days depending on output volume

Pouch Removal:

• Use release tabs to disconnect from barrier
• Listen for release sound confirming detachment
• Dispose according to facility protocols
