Usage & Care
Sizing: Confirm the stoma size is within the 22–33 mm range before ordering. For stomas outside this range, select an alternative size within the Esteem Synergy range.
Application: Remove the backing from the barrier. Warm the Stomahesive in your hands briefly to improve adhesion. Centre the barrier opening over the stoma and press from the centre outward, smoothing the tape border onto the skin.
Pouch Attachment: Position the Esteem Synergy pouch over the landing zone and press the adhesive coupling firmly against the barrier. No snapping or precise alignment is required.
Wear Time: Change the barrier when the adhesive shows signs of breakdown, when leakage occurs, or at the interval recommended by your stoma care nurse — typically every 3–5 days.
Removal: Use an adhesive remover spray to gently release the barrier. Peel back from the outer edge toward the stoma slowly to minimise trauma to peristomal skin.
