Usage/Application

Ideal for medical clinics, dental offices, pharmacies, long-term care facilities, workplaces, schools, reception areas, retail environments, and everyday public use. This product is a medical face mask and should not replace a fit-tested N95 respirator where airborne respiratory protection is required. Mould the adjustable nose strip to the bridge of the nose and loop the mask over the ears for coverage, keeping in mind that a medical face mask provides a loose barrier against droplets, splashes, and fluid rather than the sealed fit of a respirator. As an ASTM Level 2 mask it offers moderate fluid resistance suited to many routine procedures, while higher-fluid tasks may call for a Level 3 mask. As a single-use, non-sterile mask it should be replaced when it becomes soiled, damaged, or moist, and discarded after use rather than reused. Where a sealed, fit-tested respirator is required for airborne hazards, use an appropriate N95 instead.
